Accompanied by his wife and collaborator,
Prof. Ellen Winner, herself an expert on gifted children, Prof. Gardner also engaged in discussions and meetings with key academicians and policymakers. He also visited several schools, NGOs and public institutions.
The tour was very well-timed and came at a time when the education system in the country is gearing up to get revolutionized. It has already managed to generate serious dialogue between the Indian public, the media and policymakers.
